What Is Education?
Introduction and Background
In general, constantly learning something is a lifelong process, from which we become able to survive, grow, and live on through different stages of life from birth to death. The pace of learning may widely vary depending on innate intelligence or IQ, what and how we are exposed to learning so as to pile up the quality and quantity of who we are for managing personal and professional chores and tasks.
Where, how, why, and whom are we learning from?
Before schooling, we are learning daily from family members, chiefly parents, and neighbors intentionally or unintentionally. After going to schools - kinder-gardens to post-graduate studies, the resources, sources, contents, and practice of learning expand and extend over a time span of few years to few decades, and even for a lifetime.
As a result, all the activities seen in daily living are possibly taken by all sorts of people with all kinds of skills, and we are all having an opportunity to make a living to earn different levels of incomes so as to live at different levels of comfort and luxury under the fuels of commercialism and consumerism.
Under the excessive powerful pulling and overdrive of the locomotives of commercialism and consumerism beyond honestly informing the people with available truth and facts of the products and services, many unsuspecting people are easily duped and misled to buy what they like, love, and want, but not what they really need. Consequently, the unwanted ramified ill outcomes from over-expense follow suit leading to too many too late regrets, disappointments, frustrations, stresses, and finally even depressions. In other words, such people are unknowingly victimized by the siege and ravage of overindulgence and obsession.
Worse yet, these life realities fail to be recognized as the real culprits of unhappiness because of the smearing and cover-up by the high pressing political correctness. Instead, all the blames for all wrong things resulting from personal poor ability in decision-making and action-taking are directed to a chemical imbalance in the brain, and all the affected are prescribed with anti-depressants but without addressing the most fundamental and essential issues of life realities.
What is the Real Goal of Education? 教育的真正目標是什麼？
Simply put, education is brainwash for control.
Yet, please don't get nervous by or allergic to the word of brainwash. Please read on.
Considering the relativity between the educators (manipulative politicians) and the educated (the ordinary unsuspecting voters), the ordinary people are the producers of wealth and the feeders of the middlemen because they do the hard work to generate what the middlemen want for profits. There is nothing wrong with such a social structure as long as what the middlemen's gain is not accomplished through manipulating the ordinary's greed, ignorance, anxiety, and fear with the tactics of obviously imbalanced powers and the disguise of deception under hidden agenda to result in what the middlemen's gain is obviously at the expense of the ordinary's pain, suffering, and loss.
In short, if the outcome of brainwash (education) enables propagating and promoting mutual benefits with quality openness, transparency, and supervision under a well-run democracy without private media and/or official censorship, forgery, and cover-up.
How Could We Classify the Category of Education?
After mulling over the relativity of the social positions of the middlemen in the middle tier and the ordinary in the lower tier of the society as discussed above, and realizing the fact that all matters in life have always existed and displayed on a pattern of its unique full-spectrum, it seems reasonable to roughly classify education into three categories as follows:
1. Benign Education,
2. In-between(neutral) Education, and
3. Malignant Education. For details, read the following below.
1. Benign Education: 1. 良性教育：
It refers to in that the educators work hard to help the being educated become as functional, productive, independent, and less burdensome as much and as best as possible. This form of education traditionally exists in the free world with quality openness, transparency, and supervision under a well-functioning democracy. But, all matters of life always exist and display on their unique pattern of a full spectrum from almost non-perceivable littleness to an obviously blatant expression.
2. In-between (neutral) Education: 2.中間（中性）教育：
Realizing that all matters in life have always existed and displayed on a pattern of their unique full-spectrum, something in between the best and worst or the benign and malignant naturally emerges to reflect the situational conditions for an entity's need and struggle to survive, grow, and continue to live on as well and long as possible. The most exemplified example could be found in many European countries.
Politically, it could be more left-leaning or right-leaning.
The left-leaning middlemen educate the ordinary with non-factual but fictional cheating political delusions so as to mislead and misguide the ordinary to live on limited meager rationing for their deluded fairness and evenness indoctrinated in socialism and communism. In reality, all the wealth produced by the ordinary is collected and goes to the members in the high echelon of the system through corruption with bribery, embezzlement, money laundering, etc, which could be subtle to obvious, even seemingly legal. Further, the left-leaning middlemen will coerce the ordinary and hold them hostage of nationalism and their defined moral loyalty to the party. The typical example prevails in China under the CCP.
The right-leaning middlemen tend to educate the ordinary to work hard for themselves with no cheating under rules, regulations, and laws, which typically exist and prevail in the free world under capitalism with higher possible openness, transparency, and supervision through a reasonably well-functioning democracy as exemplified in the US.
Ideally, this is the way free-living supposed to be, but unfortunately, such a much-expected society in the US is increasingly tainted and distorted by social misery of non-factual but fictional cheating political delusions as manipulated and led mainly by the Democrats under the names or calls for Blacks Lives Matter, or Whites Lives Matter, or Yellows Lives Matter or Women Lives Matter or Asians Lives Matter. Instead, the truth and facts of life should be All Lives Matter because the goals, ways, contents, and social structure of life have been always the same and never changed from day 1 humanity to the present.
3. Malignant Education: 3.惡性教育：
It denotes that the educators work hard with an evil mind to mislead the educated ordinary people to become parasites living on the rations under the mercy of the educator, who are typically the left-leaning radical with the CCP as the most typified example. More detailing, review the above section 2. In-between(neutral) Education.
As well, these educated usually behave less functional, productive, independent, and more burdensome to others than those under benign education because they are deluded with the ideas of being equal with no need to work hard fofe themse.
As a result, in order to compete with those under benign education, the people under malignant education would need to craftily master the fine arts of how to lie, cheat, steal, rob, bully, and fight for a meager living. This form of education obviously exists in a different world with high oppression, repression, and suppression under a highly reinforced totalitarianism; the living of Chinese under the CCP is today's most typical example besides Russia, Northern Korea, Iron, many others, etc.
What are Solutions to the Pitfalls and Shortfalls of Education?
It is essential to teach the students with the available truth and facts of the detailed sequence of incurred and incurring events in all facets of life with no selectivity and private or official media bias and censorship.
